@me06

There is. Don't rate a game 0 because you THINK there isn't a controls menu, while there is. Me06, I hope you realize that my 7-year old brother even figured it out. Get your head out of your ass and look at the screen-- it's THERE. See the bubble that says "instructions"? It's right next to Start. Yeah, there you go!

Ha, ha! Fun.

It was pretty fun, with all of the choices you could pick and all. I kept dying until I came up with a reasonably well score:

Survived the Day: Yes
Saved your Wife: Yes
Tactics: A (screw your weapons, I have a CROWBAR!)
Compassion: B

Ahem...

There isn't really a lot to do.
Run around and press spacebar... eh... purposely died after a while. Not super ultra deserving to be on the front page, in my honest opinion. The concept and all is cool, you could make something great out of it- really. But what you used it for just... didn't tend to the needs.

Very fun.

Beat it 3 times until I realised I wasn't logged on.

Fun, but...

Short and fun. After you get past Luis once on all of his stages he's easy to complete without getting hit once.
Anyways, I got the AbyMal achievement a load of times. The one time I made it to the ending of the cave I accidentally pressed "a", the attack button, rather than the jump button. Whatever.

Ahem...

I'm sure this would be good could explain more, and make the codes copy and pastable so that I don't have to type down a large code for something that doesn't work. And yes, of course, Yorren is such an idiot for the creators' lack of explanation. Haw haw. This tutorial didn't help me at all, infact, it probably lowered my knowledge with Actionscript. Also annoyed me about how I was trying to listen to music and there is no mute button to turn off the crappy song. I wouldn't suggest this to anyone knew wanting to make a platformer. Or much anyone at all. This tutorial can briefly be described like, "Here's some lines of code you must copy into an object (psss... it's a secret, don't tell anyone), and so here's some more code that you can flop some where, and another. It didn't work? Get out, cretin." Smashing.

ActionSick responds:

your "1" did not make a difference, you only made yourself look retarded as about 150 people loved this tutorial because they are not fully retarded as you are..

But it's okay I knew there would be a ton of idiots who have no idea or sense of knowledge to figure out a couple things on their own, instead you need a fucking nanny to guide you through everything.

bravo, this is still the best tutorial

Nice review and all,

But it didn't really work for me. Surely, I did something wrong. I have the ground named 'ground' and everything, so I don't think that is the problem. Anyways, I made the character a movie clip named 'character', inside of the character I have 3 frames, one named 'Standing' and it is my character standing, another one named 'Running' and inside that I have a movie clip with some frames in it that would make a running animation. Then the third frame is named 'Jumping', and it has a drawing of him jumping and all. Now, I am back at the 'scene 1', where I'm not in any movie clips. I select my 'character' movie clip and open actions, then I added all of the codes it gave me to put in the character inside the actions ontop of eachother, I added '}' at the end when it told me to. When I run it my character just floats there. What's wrong?
